Suzie LeBlanc has established a very distinguished career in 17th and 18th century repertoire. She keeps a busy schedule of concerts worldwide, performing in opera at the Netherlands Opera, the Dresden Musiekfestspiele, the OpÈra de Montréal and the Boston Early Music Festival, with major baroque orchestras such as Teatro Lirico, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Freiburger Baroque Orchestra, Brandenburg Australian Orchestra and Tafelmusik, in recital at the Concertgebouw, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Wigmore Hall and the Proms in London and in the more intimate setting of chamber music with ensembles Tragicomedia, Les Voix Humaines, Musica Antiqua Köln and the Purcell Quartet. She also performs frequently in duo recitals with countertenor Daniel Taylor, lutenist Stephen Stubbs and harpsichordist/pianist Richard Egarr. She has worked with directors such as Ton Koopman, Stephen Stubbs, Rinaldo Alessandrini, Andrew Parrot, Bernard Labadie and Reinhard Göbel.

Engagements for the year 2000/01 include Bach Cantatas in London (Spittalfields Festival), a recital of Mozart and Haydn arias at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Mozart’s Requiem in Portland, a tour of Australia with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Monteverdi’s ’Orfeo’ for Festival Vancouver, a recital of Bach and Mozart with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and festival appearances at the Berkeley Festival and the Festival en Lumière de Montréal.

Opera roles include Poppea in L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Opéra de Montréal, Clori in Handel’s Clori, Tirsi & Fileno in Halle, La Musica and Euridice in Monteverdi’s Orfeo in Vienna, Stuttgart and Tokyo, Cupid in Blow’s Venus & Adonis with Opera Atelier in Toronto, Drusilla in L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Malmö Festival and in Tokyo and Cupid in Purcell’s King Arthur at the Boston Early Music Festival.
