January 2006: Les Boréades were invited to perform at the Miami Bach Society in the USA. Schedule: Friday, Jan 27 (morning): master class at the University of Miami; Saturday, Jan 28 at 7:00 pm: benefit concert (private event); Sunday, Jan 29 at 4:00 pm: concert at St. Andrew’s Church, 14260 Old Cutler Road.

2005-2006: Nominee at the Opus prize for best recording of the year with Hyver.

2005-2006: Five-concert series at the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours, Montreal, comprising, Harmonious Consort, Al Rovescio, A musical offering, Haydn Intime and Bach à l’orchestre.

August 2005: Les Boréades performed their production of Handel’s Acis and Galatea with American conductor Eric Milnes at Festival Vancouver. Musicians of the ensemble gave master classes for Early Music Vancouver.

June 2005: Residency at Nova Scotia Festival, June 1st-10.

May 2005: Les Boréades de Montréal (eleven musicians led by Francis Colpron) and soprano Karina Gauvin offered two programmes: Handel and Purcell as well as Sourire français, during an important European tour. The musicians performed at Utrecht’s Vredenburg and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw (Netherlands) as well as Salle Gaveau in Paris (France) and went on to Regensburg (Germany), without the singer, to play their Beatles Baroque programme at the Tage Alter Musik Festival.

2004-2005: Sensibilité 1750 Nominee at the Opus prize for Reconnaissance à un artiste hors-Québec.
