A word from the artistic director

Thanks to you, dear audience, the 2025-2026 season will mark the 30th anniversary of Les Boréades; in a way, we now enter youthful maturity! To prolong the moment, the usual celebrations will conclude at the end of the following season with a wild and intriguing project: a contemporary reinterpretation, with dance and stage direction, of Jean-Baptiste Lully’s tragédie en musique, Atys.

Until then, for the coming year we offer a season steeped in variety, as always, with the kind of repertoire that never ceases to dazzle us. First, a recorder recital, Le Tisseur de vent, will further acquaint us with the art of Francis Colpron, our musical director. Then, Meslanges harmoniques will take us on a journey to Renaissance France, exploring both its earthiness and naturalistic poetry as well as its composers’ contrapuntal skill. Finally, a selection of the most delightful concert works by Georg Philipp Telemann, “the peerless master”, will feature solo slots for each member of the ensemble.
