TOWARDS NEW HORIZONS

Another season is coming to an end, and with it a lot of not-to-be-missed events! Our activities are far from over, with off-season summer concerts in the works, and the sixth edition of the Saint-Camille Academy of Early Music.

What’s more, the 28th season is just around the corner! In September, we’ll be thrilling you with the Maestro Mozart concert at Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours, featuring none other than the fabulous Marie-Ève Munger. Rest assured, we’ve got plenty of top-notch events to surprise you.

Once again this year, we’re asking for the support of our loyal audience to pursue our mission at the height of our art. The private donations and sponsorships to which you contribute represent 10% of our annual budget, an essential contribution to the long-term operation of our organization.

Les Boréades’ strength and artistic influence at home and abroad, and its focus on original programming, mean that we must maintain favorable conditions for our development and creation. The ensemble is proud to launch a $10,000 campaign to ensure the sustainability of the projects presented below, more specifically those focused on youth and education. For every additional donation of $500, generous donors will be invited to the Director’s annual dinner as a token of our thanks.

The Board of Directors and the team at Les Boréades join me in saying: thank you!

Academy of Early Music

Co-founded by Les Boréades and Les Concerts de la Chapelle, the Académie offers intensive three-day training every summer, enabling amateur musicians, music students and professional musicians to deepen both their knowledge of the Baroque repertoire and the playing techniques specific to their instrument.

Each participant benefits from 23 hours of professional coaching, mainly in one of five groups under the direction of one of the experienced musicians/teachers, members of the ensemble Les Boréades.
